Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’m Rugwed from TechNet, and today is Thursday, March 20th, 2025. Yesterday, I was feeling a bit under the weather, so I didn’t get a chance to write a new blog post. But today, I’m back with a fresh cup of morning chai and a renewed sense of energy.
My day began at 7:45 AM, when I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day ahead. After completing my morning routine, I took a few minutes to enjoy a steaming hot cup of chai. There’s something about the aroma and flavor of Indian chai that always lifts my spirits and gets me feeling energized.
With my morning chai in hand, I headed out the door and made my way to the office. As many of you know, my office is just a short 10-minute walk from my home, so I arrived feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 9:00 AM. I always make it a point to greet my colleagues with a warm smile and a cheerful “Good morning!” – it’s a great way to start the day on a positive note.
Once I settled into my desk, I dove headfirst into my work. I had a meeting scheduled for 11:00 AM, where I needed to provide an update on our pending project. So, I spent the morning making a detailed plan with tasks and deadlines. I also worked on some drawings for our value engineering project, which is an exciting new initiative that we’re undertaking.
Just as I was finishing up my preparations for the meeting, our department head stopped by to ask about the complaint resolution of one of our clients. Since he had been on leave the previous week, he wanted to get briefed on the progress we’d made. My team and I took a few minutes to fill him in on the details, and then we headed into our meeting.
The meeting itself was a productive one, and I was able to brief the team on my project plan and provide an update on our progress. We discussed some of the challenges we’re facing and brainstormed solutions to overcome them. The meeting ran a bit long, but it was worth it to ensure that everyone was on the same page.
After the meeting, I continued working on my ongoing project. I took a break for lunch around 1:00 PM and headed home to grab a bite to eat. As I was leaving the house, one of my colleagues called to ask me to meet him at our experience center, where we have all of our products on display. He’s new to our team and wanted to get a better understanding of one of our products, so I took a few minutes to walk him through it.
After resolving his question, we headed back to the office, where I had another meeting scheduled with a new supplier. We met with their team and discussed some potential partnership opportunities. To be honest, these types of meetings can sometimes feel a bit dry, but it’s always great to meet new people and explore new possibilities.
The rest of my afternoon was filled with another meeting with our internal cross-functional team. We discussed some of the ongoing projects and initiatives within the company and aligned on our priorities for the next quarter. It was a productive meeting, but I was glad when it finally wrapped up around 5:00 PM.
After the meeting, my team and I decided to take a break and grab a cup of tea together. We also took some time to celebrate one of our team member’s promotions to another division within the company. We’d ordered him some gifts – a Noise smartwatch, a pair of OnePlus earbuds, and a sleek American Tourister office bag from Amazon – and we were excited to present them to him.
To celebrate his promotion, we’d also planned a small party at his house, so we took some time to pick out some snacks and drinks at the local mall. It was a fun way to unwind and spend some quality time with my colleagues.
As I headed home around 7:45 PM, I felt grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great team. When I arrived home, I took a few minutes to relax with a cup of tea and spend some quality time with my mom and dad. We chatted about our day and shared some laughs together – it’s always a great way to unwind and feel connected.
As I reflect on my day, I’m reminded of the importance of taking time to appreciate the little things in life. Whether it’s a good cup of chai, a productive meeting, or a fun celebration with colleagues, there’s always something to be grateful for.
